Cabinet meeting at 5 pm today

Likely to take crucial decisions on COVID-19



KATHMANDU: A cabinet meeting is taking place at 5 pm today at the Prime Minister’s official residence, Baluwatar.

According to the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers, the meeting is expected to take some important decisions against coronavirus as recommended by the Covid-19 Crisis Management Center (CCMC).

Meanwhile, a joint meeting of the Chief District Officers (CDOs) of the three districts of Kathmandu Valley is being held today.

The meeting is being held to decide the moves to be taken to prevent the increasing cases of coronavirus in the Valley.

Kali Prasad Parajuli, CDO of Kathmandu, informed that a meeting is being held to decide the next move as the number of active infected people has been increasing of late.

Currently, the number of active infected people in the Kathmandu Valley is more than 9,000. This number exceeds the criteria set by the CCMC.
