Three persons arrested with leopard-like skin



KATHMANDU: Three people have been arrested for hunting protected wildlife. The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) of the police arrested three persons from Kageshwari Manhara Municipality-6 in Kathmandu with a skin resembling to leopard hide.

The arrested are Phulmaya Tamang, 34, of Bara Jitpur Simara Sub-Metropolis and Shiva Palli, 32, of Gulmi and Pasang Tasi Tamang, 22, of Ramechhap Doramba Village Municipality-2 have been arrested.

Police have recovered a leopard-like skin from the protected wildlife and sent it to the Division Forest Office, Hattisar, Kathmandu for necessary legal action.
