Parliamentary hearing on Justices Subedi and Chudal on Apr 16



KATHMANDU: The parliamentary hearing on the proposed judges for Supreme Court, Kumar Chundal and Nahakul Subedi, is scheduled for April 16, according to Committee’s President, Laxman Lal Karna.

The meeting of the Parliamentary Hearing Committee held Sunday collected information from the complainants against the proposed judges.

There were two complaints filed against proposed judge Chundal while five against Subedi. ‘

Among five complainants against proposed Justice Subedi, four attended the committee meeting and put forth their views. The meeting discussed thoroughly on the questions raised over capacity and other issues against the proposed judges, according to President Karna.

However, those against Chundal did not attend the meeting.
