Banke records 18 fresh COVID-19 cases in past 24 hours



BANKE:  As many as 18 people have tested positive for coronavirus at Bheri Hospital in the last 24 hours in Banke district.

According to the hospital administration, out of 45 patients who underwent PCR screenings, test reports of 18 patients came out to be positive.

Among the 18 fresh coronavirus cases, 13 are from Banke, and one each from Bardiya, Jajarkot, Kailali, Lalitpur and Surkhet. With this, the number of coronavirus cases has reached 4,730 in Banke district.

Of them, 4,649 have returned home after recovery while, a total of 144 – 56 from Banke and 88 from outside districts – have died from the virus so far.
