India records new 62,291 COVID-19 cases, 292 deaths



NEW DELHI: India recorded 62,291 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours, taking the caseload to 11,908,373.

Currently, 454,249 are undergoing treatment at various isolation centers and hospitals. Meanwhile, 11,292,849 have returned home after treatment.

Similarly, the number of deaths from the coronavirus in India has crossed the 161,200-mark.

With 292 deaths in a single day, the number of deaths from the virus has reached 161,275, according to the latest figures collated by Worldometers.
