Man claiming to be US citizen arrested on fraud charges



KATHMANDU: Police have arrested a person claiming to be a US citizen on fraud charges.

Ranjit Yadav, 23, of Biratnagar was arrested on the charge of deceiving people through social media.

According to police, Yadav had cheated people through social media such as Facebook, eSewa, and IME.

He had introduced himself as an American citizen and dealing with people assuring them of delivering electronic goods to Nepal from the US.
