KATHMANDU: The Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD) has predicted light rains amidst thunderstorms in some places of hilly region of Bagmati and Pradesh 1.
The weather will remain partly to generally cloudy in other hilly regions and fair in the rest of the country.
According to a weather bulletin issued by the MFD this morning, the weather is partly to generally cloudy in hilly regions including the Kathmandu Valley due to the impact of local and westerly winds.
Similarly, light rain with thunderstorms are expected in some hilly areas of Gandaki and Pradesh 1 and fair weather in the rest of the country tonight.
The temperature of the Kathmandu Valley is recorded at 9.4 degree Celsius this morning. It is expected to rise up to 28 degree in the afternoon, according to the weather bulletin.
