India confirms 18,691 new COVID-19 cases, 99 deaths



NEW DELHI: India recorded 18,691 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours, taking the caseload to 11,229,271.

Currently, 190,501 are undergoing treatment at various isolation centers and hospitals. Meanwhile, 10,880,880 have returned home after treatment.

Similarly, the number of deaths from the coronavirus in India has crossed the 157,800-mark.

With 99 deaths in a single day, the number of deaths from the virus has reached 157,890, according to the latest figures by Worldometers.
