Narayangadh-Muglin road to remain closed for a week



MUGLIN: The Narayangadh-Muglin road section will remain closed for a week on day time to complete remaining task of landslide control.

The road section will be closed for a week from March 7-13. Issuing a notice today, the Narayangadh-Muglin road project informed the public that the road section will remain closed to complete backlog of works related to landslide control at Charkilo.

Project engineer Sabina Ranabhat informed that two way traffic will remain closed along Muglin-Narayangadh from 10.30 am to 3.00 pm.

All vehicles except emergency ones will be put to a halt during a week, she said. Ranabhat further shared that the task will begin from the area where landslide occurred in the third week of last June.

The project sources shared that 85 percent of landslide control works have been completed on the road section.

Vehicles coming from Narayangadh will be stopped at Jalbire while those from Muglin will be halted at Shanti Bazaar.

The project office has requested all to use alternative routes during the period.
