RPP Chair Thapa advises NC to refrain from ‘unholy’ alliance



BHAIRAHAWA: Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) Chairman Kamal Thapa has advised Nepali Congress (NC) not to join any ‘unholy’ alliance for power.

Speaking at a press conference organized by RPP Rupandehi, Chairman Thapa said that NC should desist its lust for power and should avoid any ‘unnatural’ alliance to go ahead.

He reminded that the people have given Nepal Communist Party (NCP) a mandate to run the government for five years, hence it is up to that party to help out the solution for the crisis.

“NC should abstain joining the government as the people have given mandate to NCP,” RPP Chair said in the program adding, “The election is the best way out from the ongoing crisis.”

He lauded the peace agreement with the Biplav outfit as a historical achievement of the government.

Thapa recapped the party line that the party always has dissented secularism, federalism and republicanism in the country.
