One more Nepali national abroad dies of coronavirus



KATHMANDU: One more Nepali national abroad succumbed to the coronavirus pandemic in the past week.

According to the Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA), one Nepali national died of the pandemic in the UK.

A total of 336 Nepalis in 21 countries have succumbed to the pandemic so far.

According to the Coordinator of the NRNA Health Committee, Sanjeev Sapkota, the coronavirus infection has been confirmed in 60,630 Nepalis in 50 countries till Saturday evening. Of them, 59,120 have recovered.

According to the committee, the infection has been seen in more Nepalis in Sweden, Spain, Poland, Seychelles, the UK, the UAE, and Saudi Arabia in the past week.
