KATHMANDU: Former member of the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC), Mohana Ansari has said that the loopholes in sectors such as rule of law and human rights created by the political parties and the government have led to the current crisis.

Taking part in an interaction program on “Dissolution of the House of Representatives: Constitutional Crisis and the way out” Ansari pointed out that the present crisis has evolved because of some lack of clarity in the constitutional provisions.

She expressed sadness that the people have not been standing to speak against the violation of the Constitution that has been prepared after nearly seven decade long struggle for it.

“The constitution made by the Constituent Assembly that had been an agenda seven decades ago is being trespassed and intellects and professionals have not come together to protest against it,” Ansari said.
