Land Revenue Office Chief nabbed with bribe



KATHMANDU: The Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) has arrested the head of the Land Revenue Office in Bara with Rs 600,000 in bribe.

CIAA Spokesperson Narayan Prasad Risal said that Chief of Office Manoj Kumar Khanal and legal entrepreneur Badri Prasad Badal were arrested along with the bribe.

A team deployed from the commission’s headquarters in Tangal arrested them from a hotel in Jitpur on Friday and further investigation is underway, CIAA said.
