Fake doctor nabbed in Kathmandu

KATHMANDU: Police have arrested a fake doctor hailing from Arghakhanchi district.

The arrested is Jitendra Panthi of Malarani Rural Municipality-8 in Arghakhanchi district.

A police team deployed from the Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) arrested him from Kathmandu Metropolis-3 on Sunday.

It has been revealed that Panthi used to check patients with a fake registration number of the Nepal Medical Council.

According to the bureau, the investigation has been started with the permission of the court to keep Panthi in custody.
