MTPD nabs four persons for involvement in motorcycle theft

KATHMANDU: The Metropolitan Traffic Police Division (MTPD) has arrested four persons allegedly involved in motorcycle theft from Kathmandu.

After receiving reports of motorcycle thefts, the traffic police had been actively conducting special operations for a few months by mobilizing the traffic police in plain clothes.

With the deployment of the special operation team, the number of arrests of gangs involved in motorcycle thefts has increased, according to MTPD.

A total of 11 people were arrested and sent to various police offices for an investigation into the motorcycle theft case alone in the Nepali month of Magh.
