30-year-old doctor and father die in road mishap



DHADING: Two persons including a doctor died after a truck and motorcycle were involved in a head-on collision at Khanikhola of Dhunibensi in Dhading district today.

The accident occurred after Kathmandu bound motorcycle (Pra 3 02009 Pa 8230) and the truck (Na 1 Kha 6547) from opposite direction collided head-on killing Balaram Adhikari, 60, and his 30-year-old son Dr. Suresh Adhikari of Nilkantha Municipality-5.

The motorcycle caught fire after the incident and the two had sustained injuries.

Superintendent of Police Mahendra Khadka of District Police Office Dhading said that the two died on the way to their hospital.
