Three including Indian national nabbed with drugs



KATHMANDU: Police have arrested Sapana Rajbanshi, 22, of Morang and currently living in Kageshwori Manohara Municipality-8 with around five kilograms of marijuana.

After receiving information that drugs were hidden in her room, the police team deployed from the Metropolitan Police Circle Bouddha raided the room and made the arrest.

Police are searching for Ishwor Acharya, 26, of Melamchi in Sindhupalchowk.

Meanwhile, Masalim Dewan, 60, of Bishrampur in Bahudarmai Municipality-7 of Parsa has been arrested with 9.2 kilograms of cannabis, three cannabis making machines, and 920 grams of chemicals.

Police have also arrested Rakesh Singh, 20, of Bihar in India along with 2.5 kilograms of cannabis from Birgunj Metropolitan City-25.

A police team from Border Police Post, Chhapkaiya nabbed him with the drugs.
