KATHMANDU: The westerly wind has caused rain and snowfall in most parts of the country on Saturday.

It has been raining in Kathmandu Valley and Chandragiri, a touristic spot of the outskirt of the Kathmandu Valley, has witnessed the first snowfall of the season.

The temperature has gone down across the nation. Normal life has been affected due to snowfall in the mountainous districts including Mugu, Dolpa and Humla.
