Bandh enforcers vandalize Tata Sumo in Gongabu



KATHMANDU:  Bandh enforcers of the Prachanda-Nepal faction have vandalized a Tata Sumo in Gongabu area in the capital on early Thursday.

The Tata Sumo, Na 1 Ja 8859, was vandalized by cadres of the Prachanda-Nepal faction while it was heading to Kapurdhara from Gongabu Chowk, informed SP Sushil Singh, the spokesperson of Metropolitan Police Office, Kathmandu.

The windshield of the vehicle has been badly broken.

Meanwhile, police have arrested five cadres of the Prachanda-Nepal group from Samakhusi area on the charge forcing bandha this morning.

The arrested are Milan Tamang, Samir Tamang, Ramesh Tamang, Raj Kumar Tamang and Rajendra Pandey, infomed Ram Prasad Sapkota, the coordinator of National Youth Association.

Similarly, other 35 cadres of the disgruntled have beeen arrested from different areas while they were engaged in halting transport system and enforcing bandh.

The disgruntled breakaway faction, which has been agitating against the dissolution of the House of Representatives (HoR), has called a general strike today.
