KATHMANDU: Two injured war heroes from England are making an attempt to conquer Mount Everest next month, international media report stated.

If they become successful to ascent Everest, they will be close to becoming the first disabled adventurers to complete the Explorers Grand Slam. Explorers Grand Slam is a global challenge to North and South Poles and reach the highest peaks on each of the seven continents, reports, knutsfordguardian.co.uk.

Former Parachute Regiment soldiers Martin Hewitt and Terry Byrne, who had suffered injuries in Afghanistan, are on a mission to ascent the world’s highest mountain.
