Province no 1 Chief ‘Pyasi’ calls for unity for nation’s development



BIRATNAGAR: Chief of Province no 1, Somnath Adhikari ‘Pyasi’ has paid deep respects to the brave martyrs who laid down their lives for the dignity and honor of the country, people, nation and nationality.

In a message he gave on the occasion of the Martyrs Day today, Chief of the Province Pyasi has remembered the historic people’s movement, the armed struggle, sacrifices and dedication of the Nepali people at various times for upholding the national interest, establishing the democratic republic and ushering forward-looking change.

He paid tributes to the great martyrs who laid down their lives for freeing the country from the yoke of the autocratic Rana oligarchy as well as all the known and unknown martyrs born in this land.

Pyasi has also stressed the need of protecting the achievements of the various democratic movements.

He has also expressed the belief that true tribute and respect to the martyrs would be if all could be united and work together for the country’s development by establishing sustainable peace through political consensus.

It is equally imperative to put to an end all kinds of discrimination. The Province no 1 Chief also wished that the Day would inspire all to be dedicated to fulfilling the dreams of the martyrs.
