GDP to increase by 6.81%

KATHMANDU: It has been estimated that the size of national economy will increase by 6.81 percent in the current fiscal year.

According to the Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS), the gross domestic product (GDP) of the country will reach 34 trillion 64 billion by the end of the current fiscal 2075/76.

The projection was based on the economic activities of the last seven months. The economic growth rate is less than the goal set for the current fiscal year.

The eight percent of economic growth had been projected in the current fiscal budget.
