KATHMANDU: A Cabinet meeting is currently underway at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers in Singha Durbar following a call by Prime Minister Balen Shah.
Government spokesperson Sasmit Pokharel said the meeting has been convened to endorse the government’s policy and programme for the upcoming fiscal year before it is presented in Parliament later today.
The government is scheduled to unveil its annual policy and program for the fiscal year 2026/27 on Monday.
According to the agenda, President Ram Chandra Poudel will present the policy and program during a joint session of both houses of Parliament at 4 pm today.
