COVID-19: India reports 116 deaths, 9,036 infection cases in 24 hrs

NEW DELHI: India recorded 9,036 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours, taking the caseload to 10,677,710.

Currently, 178,819 are undergoing treatment at various isolation centers and hospitals. Meanwhile, 10,345,267 have returned home after treatment.

Similarly, the number of deaths from the coronavirus in India has crossed the 153,600-mark.

With 116 deaths in a single day, the number of deaths from the virus has reached 153,624, according to the latest figures by Worldometers.
