KATHMANDU: The Prachanda-Nepal faction of the Nepal Communist Party (NCP) has condemned the police crackdown on the citizens’ march against the dissolution of the House of Representatives (HoR).

Spokesperson of the faction and coordinator of the Central Struggle Committee Narayankaji Shrestha issued a statement condemning the police crackdown.

Police had arrested more than two dozen human rights activists, including Krishna Pahadi, from Baluwatar on Monday.

Dozens of people had assembled in front of the Prime Minister’s official residence in Baluwatar to protest against the dissolution of Parliament.
