Eight lawyers take part on Sunday’s hearing on writ against HoR dissolution



KATHMANDU: Eight advocates have taken part in the hearing on the writ against the dissolution of House of Representatives (HoR) taking place at the Constitutional Bench in Supreme Court Sunday.

According to Supreme Court sources, eight advocates including Senior Advocate Dinesh Tripathi, advocates Nikita Dhungana, Kedar Karki, Krishna Prasad Sharma, Birendra Thakur, Deepak Rai, Shivahang Rai and Devraj Pokhrel argued on behalf of the writ petitioners today.

The Constitutional Bench at Supreme Court has been conducting the hearing on 13 writs lodged against the dissolution of HoR on December 20.

The Bench has been conducting the continuous hearing on the writs since January 17.
