KATHMANDU: The government is going to appoint 39,000 enumerators and 8,000 supervisors on a contract basis for the Census 2021.
If the contracted manpower doesn’t suffice, public school teachers and government employees can be hired.
The Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS) has called for applications on Sunday for recruitment.
The bureau has stated that the interested person can fill the online application form within 60 days.
Anyone with a bachelor’s or master’s degree can apply for positions of both supervisor and enumerators. However, the department has stated that recruitment will be given only for one post.
A total of Rs 4 billion budget has been allocated for the census and Rs 2 billion will be spent in the current fiscal year and the remaining amount later.
