LONDON: The number of COVID-19 cases has reached 3,395,959 in the United Kingdom (UK) after 38,598 new cases were reported in the country.
Currently, 1,771,962 are undergoing treatment at various hospitals and isolation wards across the country while 1,534,736 have recovered from the pandemic.
Similarly, the death toll linked with the coronavirus has reached 89,261 with 671 new deaths so far in the country, according to the latest figures collated by Worldometer.
Broke out in Wuhan City of China in December 2019, the coronavirus has killed 2,038,934 and infected 95,455,450 globally until the filing of this news.
