24-yr-old dies in Panchthar road mishap



PANCHTHAR:  A man has died in a motorcycle accident in Hilihang rural municipality of Panchthar district.

The deceased has been identified as 24-year-old Prabin Kalikote of Hilihang-1, said District Police Office, Panchthar. Similarly, a 20-year-old Muna Pakhrin of Halihang-2, who was riding pillion, sustained critical injuries in the accident.

The incident took place when an ill-fated motorcycle, Me 4 Pa 894, met with an accident on Wednesday night, police said.

The accident came to the fore after locals noticed the accident and informed about it to the police.

Critically injured Pakhrin has been ferried to Jhapa for treatment.

Police Inspector Dambar Bishwokarma said they are carrying out further investigation into the case.
