Man nabbed for duping woman in pretext of sending her to Singapore



KATHMANDU: A man has been arrested for allegedly defrauding a woman of more than Rs 300,000 by promising to send her to Singapore.

A team of the Metropolitan Crime Division arrested a Bishal Darji alias Janoj Lamichhane from Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu.

Darji hails from Dharan and is currently living in Sinamangal in Kathmandu.

Spokesperson SP Ishwor Karki said that he was arrested on the basis of a complaint that hed duped the woman of Rs 331,900.

According to him, Darji has been handed over to Metropolitan Police Range, Kathmandu for necessary investigation and action.
