Rape convict arrested after six years of crime

PANCHTHAR: The police have arrested a rapist six years after the crime.

The arrestee has been identified as Uttam Sherma, 25, of Miklajung-2 who was held from the village on Thursday for raping a 14-year-old girl.

The district court has handed down three years imprisonment to Sherma. He was hiding in the village, said Inspector Dambar Bishwokarma.
