Two die while cleaning a septic tank



KAILALI: Two people have died in the course of cleaning a saptic tank in Kanchanpur district.

The deceased have been identified as 40-year-old Ghuman Dagaura of Bhimdatta municipality-18 and Ganesh Rana, 35, of Belauri, currently staying at Bhimdatta municipality-4, said District Police Office, Kanchanpur.

They died of asphyxiation while cleaning the septic tank on Friday night, said SP Amar Bahadur Thapa of DPO, Kanchanpur.

Police said they have retrieved their bodies and are investigating the case.
