29,049 COVID-19 infected in home isolation



KATHMANDU: Out of 37,022 active COVID-19 cases, 29,049 people are in home isolation.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 4,032 people in Province 1 are in home isolation, 897 in Province 2, 18,743 in Bagmati, 1,816 in Gandaki, 2,237 in Lumbini, 285 in Karnali and 1,039 in Sudurpaschim Province.

Meanwhile, as many as 2,111 people were diagnosed coronavirus positive in the last 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, Nepal’s COVID-19 has reached 206,353 with fresh cases as of Friday afternoon.

Currently, there are 37,022 active cases of COVID-19.

A total of 3,537 individuals were discharged from the hospitals in the past 24 hours while the number of people winning the battle against the virus reached 168,129 in the country.

Likewise, 986 people are in quarantine facilities across the country at present.

As many as 13 people succumbed to the virus in the past 24 hours taking the COVID-19 death tally in the country to 1,202, the Ministry confirmed.
