Sexagenarian succumbs to coronavirus in Jhapa



JHAPA: A 62-year-old succumbed to coronavirus in Shivasatakshi Municipality of Jhapa district.

According to the Health Branch of Shivasatakshi Municipality, the man of ward-6 died last night.

He was undergoing treatment at the B&C Hospital in Jhapa after the confirmation of coronavirus.

According to B&C Hospital Information Officer Promise Giri, the deceased had kidney problems.

However, according to family sources, the deceased had no any disease.

With this, the number of coronavirus-related deaths in Shivasatakshi of Jhapa has reached five.
