Indian national arrested in Nepal with 1.6 million Indian rupees



BIRGUNJ: Parsa Police have arrested an Indian national with 1.6 million Indian rupees.

Police recovered the amount from Krishna Kumar Jain, a resident of Raxaul in the Indian State of Bihar, who was riding a motorcycle, Na 64 Pa 9056).

Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Manoj Kunwar stated that he was arrested from in front of Birgunj Metropolitan City-7.

According to him, the police team deployed from the office recovered the undisclosed amount after receiving information that an illegal financial transaction (hundi) was taking place.

According to DSP Kunwar, Jain is being investigated for banking and financial related offenses.
