BHAKTAPUR: Nepali Congress leader Dr. Shekhar Koirala has blamed the government for failing to carry out activities to meet the people’s aspirations.

Speaking at a program in Bhaktapur today, Dr. Koirala came down heavily on the government for ignoring the established values and principles of democracy and free judiciary.

On the occasion, he admitted the fact that the Nepali Congress has not been able to play the role of a strong opposition in the parliament. Dr. Koirala said the trend of factionalism within the NC party has weakened the party.
