Three caught for duping Rs 20 million on pretext of ‘Naagmani’



KATHMANDU: Police have arrested three persons from Banke on the charge of duping a man of around Rs 20 million on the pretext of providing him ‘Naagmani’, a ‘mystical’ gem having ‘special powers’.

The arrested are Dhan Bahadur Roka of Dailekh and Krisha Shah and Dilli Bahadur Bohara of Salyan.

Police also confiscated Rs four million from their possession.
