India provides Rs one billion for housing reconstruction projects



KATHMANDU: Indian Ambassador to Nepal Vinay Mohan Kwatra called on General Secretary of the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) and Finance Minister Bishnu Poudel.

The envoy in a tweet said that they had positive discussions to further strengthen the bilateral economic and development partnership between the two countries for mutual prosperity and progress.

On the occasion, Ambassador Kwatra handed over a check of Rs 1 billion as the next tranche under the India funded housing reconstruction projects in Gorkha and Nuwakot.
