PM Oli and Prachanda break the ice after 11 days

KATHMANDU: As an attempt to break the ice in their relationship, the Chairmen of ruling Nepal Communist Party(NCP) Prime Minister KP Oli and Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ have resumed talks in Baluwatar on Saturday.

According to the sources, despite the attempts to resume the dialogue between the Chairmen of the ruling party, the party chairs had been ignoring the attempts and observing the prospective moves the other could be taking to tar the image since long.

The establishment of NCP believed to be led by Prachanda is dissatisfied with unilateral decisions the party chairman and PM Oli has been taking ignoring the party directions, whereas PM Oli faction is not happy with the party for not defending the corruption and irregularities allegation against the government and the Ministers.

The recent cabinet reshuffle, the ‘mysterious’ secret meeting with RAW Chief Samanta Kumar Goyal among others have added fuel to the fire the communist party-led government is in.

Chairman Prachanda reached Baluwatar for the meeting at around 1 pm today.
