Minister Nembang tests COVID-19 positive

KATHMANDU: Minister for Physical Infrastructure and Transport Management Basanta Nembang has tested positive for COVID-19.

He was diagnosed positive for the coronavirus on Monday.

According to Ganesh Yonghang, Personnel Secretary to the Minister, he had given a swab sample after having symptoms similar to the coronavirus.

He was staying in isolation at Minister’s quarter.

Meanwhile, Minister Nembang has urged all who came in contact with him to be cautions

Earlier, Minister for Tourism Yogesh Bhattarai and Minister for Education Giriraj Mani Pokharel had tested positive for the virus.
