Two killed in Chitwan road mishap

BHARATPUR: Two people were killed and another sustained serious injuries in two separate road accidents that took place in Chitwan. Ramji Mahato,30, of Padampur in ward no. 4 of Kalika municipality died in an accident that took place  at Shanti chowk in Ratnapur municipality on Friday night.

Mahato was a pillion riding a motorcycle (Na.63 Pa. 6524) when it hit a stationary struck (Na. 6 Kha. 1775). He succumbed to his injuries at Chitwan Medical College hospital, according to the District Police Office, Chitwan.

Krishnanath Mahato,22, who was riding the motorcycle was seriously injured in the incident, and is undergoing treatment at the same hospital. Also on Friday night, another person died in an accident involving a motorcycle that went out of control and met with the accident at Piple in ward no. 1 of the Rapti municipality. Gopilal Syangtang,27, of Kankada-5, Makwanpur, who was riding the motorcycle, died on the spot.
