Qatar willing to import Nepal’s water

KATHMANDU: The Nepal government has launched a survey of possible sources of clean drinking water and the process of purification after the Qatar government showed interest in importing water from Nepal, said a report in Naya Patrika.

Meanwhile, a report on the feasibility of exporting water has been submitted at the Ministry of Water Supply by Joint Secretary Tej Raj Bhatta.

According to the report, the drinking water can be supplied to India and Bangladesh, besides Gulf countries.
