Cable car to be built at two different locations in capital



KATHMANDU: Two different companies have filed applications at the Department of Industry for building cable cars in the Kathmandu valley.

According to the applications, one cable car will be constructed at Phulchoki of Lalitpur while the other one will be built at Nagarjun of Kathmandu.

The companies in their applications have expressed commitments that the total investment will be domestic.

The companies will begin the construction once the feasibility study, and the Detailed Project Reports (DPR) are carried out.

According to the proposal, Phulchoki Cable Car P. Ltd. will build the cable car at the cost of Rs 660 million.

Similarly, View Nagarjun Cable Car P. Ltd. will construct the other cable car at the estimated budget of Rs 660 million. Around 68 people will get employment through this project.
