Two arrested with smuggled gold ornaments



KANCHANPUR: Police have arrested two people in possession with gold ornaments smuggled from India.

They were arrested by the regional investigation team under Sudurpaschim Province police office from Dokebazaar in Punarbas municipality-11 on Saturday evening.

Those arrested are Mohan Kami, 22, and 19-year-old Sunil Bhujel of KI Singh rural municipality-2, according to DSP at the District Police Office, Kanchanpur Amar Bahadur Thapa.

They were arrested along with 440 gram 630 milligrams of gold ornaments.

Further investigation into the case is underway.
