Pedestrian killed after being hit by mini truck

BHAKTAPUR:  A pedestrian was killed after being hit by a mini truck in Bhaktapur district.

The  deceased has been identified as 35-year-old Chandra Bahadur Moktan of Sunapati Rural Municipality-3, Ramechhap, currently staying at Chyamasing, Bhaktapur Municipality.

The accident took place when the  truck, Ba 5 Kha 3839, was heading to Bramhayani from Chyamasingh.

The accident took place at 7 pm yesterday, according to DSP Rewati Raman Pokharel.

Police said they are investing the case after taking the driver and truck under control.
