Nepse down 1.82 points in first 1 hour



KATHMANDU: Nepal Stock Exchange (Nepse) has gone down by 1.82 points in the first one hour on Wednesday.

The bench mark index which started with 1,537.35 points decreased by 0.12 percent to reach at 1,534 points during the period.

A total of 936,351 units of shares of 168 companies were sold for Rs 281 million during the period.

Of the 12 groups involved in the transaction, banking, development bank, hydropower, finance, non-life insurance, microfinance, manufacturing and processing ,mutual fund have got their share value to have decreased.

Nepal Reinsurance Company has witnessed the highest transaction with Rs 23 million (Rs 879 per unit of share) followed by Nepal Life Insurance with Rs 14.9 million (Rs 775 per unit of share).
