KATHMANDU: Prince of Bahrain Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa is arriving Nepal to scale mountains of Nepal on Wednesday.

Leading an 18-member team including 15 Bahrainis and three British citizens, Prince Sheikh Nasser is landing at Tribhuvan International Airport by a special flight today.

The special chartered flight has already taken off from Shaikh Isa Airbase, according to sources.

On August 30, a cabinet meeting had decided to allow Bahraini Prince Sheikh Nasser to come to Nepal via a chartered flight by following all the safety standards determined by the Ministry of Health and Population.

This is the first group receiving the persmission from the Nepal government to climb mountains of Nepal following the lockdown imposed on March 24.

They will climb Mt. Lobuche and Manaslu.
