KATHMANDU: The Kathmandu Valley witnessed a heavy, yet brief rainfall with hail storms this evening.

Kathmanduites were seen hurrying inside the buildings to save themselves from the rain.

The Meteorological Forecasting Division had, however, said that the weather would be partly to generally cloudy in the eastern and central regions along with western hilly region.

The Division has forecast brief rain or thundershowers possible at a few places of the eastern and central regions and at one or two places of the western hilly region.
