Finance Minister emphasizes on quality increase in revenue

BHARATPUR: Finance Minister Dr Yuba Raj Khatiwada on Monday instructed revenue employees for an increase in revenue by expanding the scope of taxation.

Speaking to officials at the Inland Revenue Office, Bharatpur, Minister Khatiwada instructed them to focus on quality growth in revenue.

He also directed the officials for the full enforcement of Finance Act-2075 BS, which provisions for tax discounts in certain conditions.

A total of 51,000 tax payers are currently associated with the Inland Revenue Office.
