They urged the government to take 33 percent of the liability of the employees’ salary and to provide loans at 50 percent subsidized interest rate to the small and medium businesses.

The entrepreneurs also sought an effective coordination among the three layers of government to address the problems created by the current difficult situation.

The government should seriously think about reviving the economy by providing some relief as much as they are capable of.

Private sector is a backbone of a country’s economy and this should not be underestimated by the government.

The Bagmati State government has initiated the process of establishing electric vehicle charging stations in the State.

The government has aimed at replacing fuel vehicles with electric vehicles from big cities of the state by 2085 BS, according to Minister for Physical Infrastructure Development Rameshwor Phuyal.

The electric transport system, he said, will be operated through the private partnership model for accessible, facilitated, safe and environment-friendly transport.

It should be noted that the policies and programs presented by the government for the fiscal year, 2020/21 has prioritized renewal energy and the replacement of fuel vehicles with electric vehicles by 2085 BS.

However the interesting thing is that, the government’s budget for FY 2078/79 has significantly increased tax on electric vehicles.

With this the announcement of the government to prioritize renewal energy and the replacement of fuel vehicles with electric vehicles by 2085 BS seems to be conflicting and over ambitious.
